
Why do we clap our hands?
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! Ps 47:1
Why do we lift our hands?
Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. Ps 63:4
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, And bless the LORD. Ps. 134:2
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; I Tim 2:8
Why do we have audible praise unto God?
Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Ps 103:1
What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. I Cor 14:15
And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying,

Why do we sing in tongues and English?
For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.

Why do we have this type of worship?
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23 24
For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, Phil 3:3
Why do we prophesy?
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. I Cor 14:1
to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Cor 12:10
Why do we have speaking with tongues and interpretation of those tongues?
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. I Cor 12:7 10
I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification. I Cor 14: 5
Why do we lay hands and pray for people?
They will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16: 18
