One4Haiti:

Past Outreaches/Testimonies

Fruit of the Land:
January, 16th from 11:00-1:00pm Frenchport Church hosted a "wild game lunch". Each family had the responsibility of bringing another family to sit with them that do not attend church or are struggling and in need of relationships and encouragement. The goal of this outreach was to present the salvation message to those without Christ, encourage those in need of relationships and raise awareness of our church and what God is doing here. The meal was held in the Family Life Center and there were all sorts of different meats and vegetables from right here in the Frenchport Community of Camden, AR. We had 66 people in attendance and also took up over $300 for One4Haiti.

Angel Tree:
We delivered 38 gifts this year to families all over Camden and shared the best gift with our city, the love of Jesus! The excitement in the children's eyes and the thankfulness of the parents and guardians showed that they had just encountered the love of Jesus through the people of Frenchport Church.

There was a tree in the sanctuary that was filled with little cutout angels that had needy children's information on them. We would like to thank Camden Fairview Schools for providing us with the information to connect us with those in need.

There were testimonies of people praying with families, blessing homes and one story of a church member just holding a struggling grandmother raising her 3 grandchildren with disabilities while she cried and thanked God. We have a big job ahead of us and the work has just begun.

December 16th we held a wrapping party and hot chocolate fellowship and had a great time praying over the gifts and building relationships.
At first we only had 32 angels but ended up blessing 38 kids! Wow! God is doing GREAT things at FC!

Share the Love:
This outreach was our first annual grocery delivery to families in need. We placed the bags in our sanctuary, stocked them weekly and delivered them as individual families right before Thanksgiving.

In 2009 we were able to reach out to 29 families! Many people were blessed, recieved prayer and most important of all, got a taste of the REAL love of God shining through the people at FC.

We would like to thank Cassi Nix and the Harmony Grove School System that provided the names of families in need for this outreach.
