Sunday School
Sunday School is still a very important part of FCC. We have exciting classes taught by anointed teachers available for all ages. Sunday School starts each week at 9:30am.
Missions
Frenchport Church is a church that seriously answers the call to share the message of Jesus Christ throughout the world. Besides the missionaries we support (see Missions in main menu), we have traveled to Haiti for the past three years. We raised the funds to build a new church building in Haiti and dedicated in April, 2001. Our youth travel to the inner city of Houston, Texas each summer to minister to the homeless and drug addicts.
Worship Ministry
Frenchport Church is probably more known for its worship service than anything else.
Breakaway Youth Ministry (click here to visit the youth page)Our youth group begins in the 7th grade and goes through high school graduation. There is a youth service each Wednesday night in the main church. The youth group has their own worship band, leads in worship on Wednesdays and at youth events in other churches when invited.
Senior Heirs
This lively senior group travels to fellowship and eat once a month at a nearby restaurant.
Children's Church
We have two children’s churches for ages 3-7 and the other 8-12. Our children’s churches meet during the morning worship service in the fellowship hall until our new Muiltipurpose building is complete. There are approximately 40 children learning to worship and being taught principles of the word of God each week.
Royal Rangers and Missionettes
We have classes for each age group that meet during the Wednesday prayer and Bible study. The classes include activities, crafts, games and a devotion from the Bible.
Family Supper
Each Wednesday beginning at 6 pm is Family Supper. A meal is provided for a donation of $7 to help working families attend the Wednesday night services. Various ladies in the church cook and serve the meal.
Men and Women's Ministry
The men and women's groups have different activities and get-togethers as deemed necessary. Both groups have different projects that they work on. One example is that the women's group have a scrapbooking group that get together one Saturday each month in the Fellowship hall for fun, fellowship, and lots of scrapbooking.
Couples Ministry
The Couples Ministry is divided into two groups: Couples with school age children and Couples with children out of school. This gives the couples the opportunity to have in common and more to fellowship about. The groups are able to relate to each other and their lives. The groups do monthly fellowships.
